Last month when I was battling the stupid, annoying, PIA pneumonia (still coughing here in April!), I watched a LOT of television. In fact, I watched more TV in a two week period than I’ve watched in the last year, frankly.
You all might have heard that I’m now a Comcast Ambassador. Which means I got early access to the absolute awesome that is Streampix.
Here’s what Comcast has to say about Streampix:
Stream full seasons of shows and top movies instantly on multiple screens, like your laptop, iPad®, iPhone® or iPod touch® — and where available on TV in HD. Enjoy unlimited streaming of every episode from every past season of top shows like Lost, Heroes, 30 Rock and more. Plus, get a deep catalog of award-winning movies you can watch anytime, anywhere. XFINITY Streampix lets you get all the best entertainment from one provider so you won’t need an additional subscription service.
While I was sick, I got to watch all my favorite comfort movies without having to do anything other than click my remote. Yes, I watched The Fifth Element. Twice. It’s one of my favorite movies, okay? And I watched Roadhouse. YES, that Roadhouse, the one where Patrick Swayze plays a ballerina style bar bouncer. I LOVE THAT MOVIE. It’s terrible in ALL the best ways.
I don’t know about you, but I’m a heavy on-demand user as it is, so Streampix was like a perfect fit for me. And guess what? It’s cheaper than Netflix! Here’s the pricing info:
If you subscribe to any of the following packages, XFINITY Streampix is already included: HD Preferred Plus XF Triple Play, HD Premier XF Triple Play, HD Complete XF Triple Play, or Blast Plus. And XFINITY TV customers can upgrade to XFINITY Streampix for just $4.99 more a month.
Yes, Comcast is sponsoring this post. But I feel very, very strongly about the awesomeness that is Streampix. SERIOUSLY. Check it out if you’re a Comcast customer, and if you’re not – well, I feel sorry for you.
