Photos
Nothing much to say today, but I have a couple more photos to share of Sarah's shower (for more, see her blog!). I'll have more in a couple days, but here ya go...
This is me being silly in a hat (somehow I think looking at the ceiling is funny). Sarah's mom took this shot and failed to tell me that a) my shirt was totally crooked, and b) just how much cleavage I was showing (perhaps she was a tad busy throwing her only daughter's shower? hmmmm...). And yes, it's the same shirt I was wearing in Mexico in my regular photo. And it's crooked there too.
Later in the evening, Sarah's daughter played a game of "How many coasters can I fit in Cecily's cleavage?" The answer: 18 (ok, they are very very thin cork coasters--but still. It's pathetic how huge and saggy my boobs are).
In this shot you can get a little peek at my house (house photos, along with tattoo photos, are coming, I swear). You wouldn't think someone who says motherfucker as much as I do would be into pink and white balloons, would you (you'd be right--Sarah's mom actually bought them, but I think they look great)? Oh--and Sarah is the one in the greenish hat with glasses.
Hammer (The Best Dog Ever) went CRAZY after the shower attacking the balloons and popping them (with his mouth). He whined and whined until we blew up more for him. Strangest thing I've ever seen. It was hysterical (if you could stand the squeeking rubber and the popping balloons) but he slipped while manically chasing them and I'm afraid he's hurt his leg again. Difficult to tell in a dog that doesn't ever register or express pain. Hopefully he just wrenched it and didn't rupture his other cruciate... sigh.

Great shots! I have that same cleavage, although I've never played a "how many" game with them. Perhaps I should...
Our dog, KC, ruptured her ACL when she was 3. The vet said she would never walk or run properly again once she had it repaired. She's now 12. And she runs like a maniac. Well, like a dog really. And she totally loves balloons! She goes nuts for them. During the boy's 1st birthday, she entertained a roomful of people with her balloon chasing abilities. Which mostly involved barking (which she rarely does!) and popping. She had too much fun. Way more fun than the boy, but that's what first birthdays are all about. CUNextTime! ;)

You are so cute! What a great picture. I stayed out of the brouhaha here the last few days, but had to come back to tell you that. Glad the shower went so well, too.
Oh, and nice rack. ;o) Perhaps you should market an 18-coaster bra rather than the old 18-hour one?

Oh. My. God. You have GORGEOUS eyes!! You're so beautiful, Cecily. I think this is a great shot that shows off your personality, too.
I peeked at Sarah's shower photos on her blog, too. Y'all did a really terrific job and the house looks as lovely as you, but not quite as smashing as TBDE in his hat.

You look absolutely fabulous. Great colours on you. Nice house.
Hilarious dog.
A province here in Canada has just banned beautiful dogs like The Best Dog In The World and my own beloved girl.
How stupid is that?

I can't wait to see more photos of the house because it looks fantastic in that one shot! And you guys look fun and happy too! And you have pictures up on the wall! We've been here over a year now and still don't have pictures up. So pathetic... I can't wait to see more.
Oh, and I'm with you on the cleavage. I wish knew what kind of coasters you were dealing with so I could do the same experiment and compare notes.

wow, the picture on your sidebar doesn't do you justice - it's not bad, but the you-in-a-hat one is bee-you-tee-ful!
hope the best dog ever is ok....the balloon chasing must have been awesome.

Hi (we've never met--my name's Annie!)--
Your cleavage is dead sexy. And I deeply envy you your house.

Read all the brouhaha with interest, though I didn't jump in. I'm new to following your blog... enjoying it. I haven't been brave enough to blog about the abortion issue (I'm new to blogging too), but I will someday. I support choice. Nice to meet you.

That's a really beautiful photo, Cecily. You look great!
My husband says there can never be too much cleavage. Too bad I don't have any!

Love the house and yes, you are one gorgeous gal. The shower looked great, I had to go peek at Sarah's blog too for more pics. (Hi Sarah!) I do have to concur with Toni about TBDE looking the best in his hat. I hope he's OK.

Can't but add my voice to the chorus about how beautiful you are!
What a great photo.

You look amazing!!!

I agree, GREAT picture of you and you do have gorgeous eyes.
Make sure you got all the scraps of popped balloons as they are really very dangerous choking hazards.

You look fabulous dahling. Elle said "I like that birthday!" In her 3 year old mind, balloons and people = birthday party. lol
Hope Hammer is OK. We like Hammer. :)

My daughter was also enthralled with the balloons and Hammer. Dog + balloons = Rockin' Good Time in her eyes. Plus she's been pretending she's a dog since she was 2.
I have to agree with the others that I am envious of your beautiful eyes!! And cleavage! and house! and eyelashes! and clotted cream! I guess I could go on and on.
You and Sarah have definitly the type of friendship that most people dream of. Thanks for sharing!

The house is looking great! And I love the hats
Posted by:Debe | August 31, 2005 at 12:08 PM
Damn, I wish I could look that good as a "fat cunt" with or without a hat! But that is one fine hat, Cec! :-)
Not to mention that those are some gorgeous eyes! With eyelashes! That you can SEE in a PICTURE?!
