Those are my very favorite Santa portraits of all, LOL!

A friend of mine has 4 little girls from 7 to 2 and she rarely has them all smiling and happy for the santa pictures. She says that it captures the moment better than if she had waited and coaxed them all. So when you look back at this in the future you will remember this was the year Tori hated Santa, and maybe next year will be the year you couldn't get her away from him.

I've been reading your blog for a while now here and there. I have linked to your page if that is alright. I laughed really hard reading this little post. My little Scarlett is 11 mos old, and she HATES strangers, especially when they hold her.. she would definitely be the second picture. That looks like a very good Santa, realistic, not scary. I love the holiday season.

OMG, that is awesome! plus she kinda looks like me as a little girl...

OMG! She has gotten so big! I still tend to think of her as the baby in the first picture. My daughters picture at 17 months old looks very similar LOL.

She has grown so much in a year. I think she looks like her mama.

I fear the same thing for my fifteen-month-old this year. :) Last year was so easy...well, in that regard at least! Otherwise a toddler is way better than a newborn!

What a difference a year makes huh?

Melissa is right, I see a whole lot of Mama in Tori's face this year! I think its adorable, I love the crying kid with Santa pics! It's a much more realistic look at life with a toddler than the cheezy fake smiling portraits!

I hate getting Santa photographs. It always involves more stress than its worth and yet if you don't get them, you feel bad the next year. It sucks either way.

Ha! I love it. The elves at the mall last year told me to have my daughter back into Santa's lap next time, you know, so she doesn't realize she's sitting on some strange dude's lap until after the photo op.

She'll like it again in a couple of years:)
I think we all have pictures like that!

Isn't it amazing how much the age changes a kid? I have a good one when she was about 7 months and then screaming one at 19 months (almost the same as you). Those crying ones are the greatest though!!!
I think I have another screaming one at 2 from my son, but he's just a crybaby. ;)

We are going to try for the fourth year to see if Lobster will smile for Santa. We will be satisfied with a non complete melt down hissifying hissy fit that you can hear all the way at the other end of the mall. Yeah THAT screaming kid...Marvey has only been once, but he takes his clues from Lobster and was full on screaming fit!

Is it weird for me to say how much I think she looks like you in this picture? =)

See, I'm totally not worried about this happeneing when I have kids. My FIL looks like Santa (DH denies it, claiming that he's not quite THAT fat and his hair isn't THAT white...whatever), and even dresses up like him to hand out presents on giftmas morning. So any Santa pics will probably be and grampa's lap, cuz as I said, the man looks like Santa.
The creepy thing is DH looks like his dad. He's 24 now, but I"m betting that by our 25th anniversary I'll be married to Santa. Ahhh!

LOL! Very funny (in a sad-for-Tori-but-I-know-she-is-fine kind of way)! Yes, these are the photos you will cherish - tears and all. Very cute!

As a nice Jewish girl, might I say that I TOTALLY relish these Santa photos. They crack me up beyond belief. This one is a real prize winner. Frame it!
