Video!
As my thanks for being kind enough to answer that very awkward survey (much less awkward if you are a blogger, I must say), here are two miscellaneous clips of Tori. One features Tori singing with Charlie, and one is of Tori attempting to use chopsticks. Perhaps I'm cruel to include that one, since it ends so badly, but it's just so damned funny to me because, frankly, I wish I was still allowed to respond that way when things didn't work out for me either. Heh.

There's lot of child or training chopsticks that are designed for children. They're smaller, or connected at the top, or have a thumb ring, to make them easier for little hands to manipulate. You might try checking them out to put her on the lifelong path of joy that is using chopsticks. :)

Great videos - Too bad Charlie is too old to try out for American Idol! :-p heh...
I have to say I totally laughed out loud at Tori's frustration - THAT was simply adorable - and yes, I too wish I could respond to things like that when I'm pissed off - we'll just have to live vicariously through our toddlers!

That was HILARIOUS...mostly it was how suddenly she went from complete calm to complete frustration. There was no build-up.
I miss her.

That's just how my toddler reacts when she can't get something to work right. :) I love how she was very particular about wanting the chopsticks to match up.

I've felt that way about trying to use chopsticks myself at times!
She is trying so hard and so seriously! What a cutie she is.

I gave up the survey at #7 when there was no option for 'none of the above' or not checking at least one box.
You might want to fix that if you have any influence.

Tori and Charlie singing together is just priceless! I love how she goes over to the piano to perform a solo :)
The chopstick performance reminds me of one of my college roommates who was Japanese. I wanted to know how toddlers learn how to eat with chopsticks and she told me they have special training chopsticks that are short and attached together, kind of like a clothespin. Poor Tori, didn't know she was handicapped with these sticks from the get-go ;) (I use handicapped in the old fashioned horse racing way, not in the new fangled physically or mentally disabled way).

OMG, the chopsticks are too cute! And at least she didn't throw them across the room cussing (my daughter's response to things that frustrated her at that age)!!
The singing is awesome, she so clearly loves music, it's just great.

I feel so bad for laughing at her reaction to the chopsticks! But that couldn't have been scripted any better. She was so precious, trying so hard!

Tori's singing is adorable. Charlie's pretty good, too. He's a man of many talents: singing, playing piano, blogging and poetry.

that made me laugh out loud
now with the singing, she's a little pitchy, but with some more work, i think she could be our next....american idol

Great video. :) I loved the ending. But she really was doing pretty well, I thought!!

I love the singing video.
Watching language and singing development has been fascinating for me. Just a few months ago, the wee one was singing the same way as Tori. The last word of a phrase. Now she knows whole songs. And today, she was singing something after hearing it once, that her papa and I made up on the spot.
Thanks for sharing!

A little late on the comment BUT the chopstick thing is so ME! OOOO I get so frustrated. At 50 I'm still trying to work those stupid things.....with the same results only difference I don't have a booster seat!! LOL
I loved the singing with Piano finish.
