Just In Case...
...you were wondering, a great treatment for seriously psycho raging PMS (you so did not want to know me today), is the following.
As you take your two year old daughter upstairs to go to bed, have her gently place her sippy cup of milk on the coffee table, kiss it, pick it up again and hug it, and then gently whisper, "Good night!" to it. The sippy cup.
I laughed the whole way upstairs.

Aww, how sweet is that!
Those natural cures (for PMS etc) are the best, aren't they?
I hope the feeling lasts! :)

That is the cutest thing I've heard all day. Hell, all week!
I find that they somehow know to be extra cute when we're extra cranky... I think it's a survival instinct. :)

Ha! Jamie was fooling with my hair tonight at bedtime, annoying me to no end (I'm PMSing as well, funny) and I was getting "cross" (we watch a lot of Thomas these days) when he said, "But, I do that, I am fixing your hair, I do that because I love you."
Oh crap. He was smoothing my hair the way I smooth his right before I kiss him.
I'm getting choked up. Time for bed myself. :)

My (3 1/2 year old) son used to say goodnight to his toy trucks and cars and kiss them and say "I ha di garn, Firetruck" (I love you, firetruck) at bedtime. Funny, I can't remember when that stopped :-(

That's cute, but what's even cuter is when said almost 2 year old hugs the TV and says, "Nite nite TB"
and the
worst parent ever award goes to...

Ah the smallest blessings in this world are the best. So precious.

Aaaaaw that is the sweetest thing ever :) The cockles of my heart were warmed a little while ago when N came up to me and said "I love you"....so sweet...until I realized he was addressing the bunny in his arms. (which is by now just a kind of stinky, bunny rag). It was still cute, but I'm already playing second fiddle...to a rag.

SUPER SWEET! Gotta love those 'back to reality' moments that warm your heart after a difficult day - PMS or not! I find myself using the phrase, "you're lucky you're cute" to my 18 mo when she's giving me the hairy eyeball too many times in one day! LOL

Hmm. First I'll need to procure a two-year-old daughter, 'cause the 8 and 11 year old ones I already have aren't being exactly "adorable." Cranky As All Hell actually covers it much better.
